APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Application responses must be in English and printed or typewritten.
Make sure you have completed all the requested data and have
included all required materials. Please refer to the attached
checklist before final submission. Receipt of application will be
acknowledged only by return of your enclosed postcard. Red Cinder
cannot be held responsible for items lost in the mail.

COLLABORATIONS: Artists who wish to apply as collaborators on a
specific project need to send individual fees, applications,
résumés, and documentation in a single envelope. Include a separate
page describing the collaborative proposal. Please let us know if
you still want to be considered even if your collaborator is not
accepted into the program.

CHOREOGRAPHY APPLICANTS: Choreographers may request to have up to
two dancers in residence. This must be noted on the back of the
application form under special requirements. One extra bedroom is
provided for this purpose. Additional dancers up to eight are
welcome to work in the studio during the weekdays and on weekends by
special arrangement. No overnight accommodations are available for
large groups.

NON-DISCRIMINATION: Red Cinder encourages and welcomes the
participation of artists from all backgrounds and does not
discriminate with regard to race, sex, sexual preference,
disabilities, religion, marital status, age, or nation of origin in
its admission policies.

ADMISSIONS PANELS: Invitations for residencies are extended based
on panel evaluations of artists and arts professionals in each
genre. Panelists are rotated each year.
