If a beautiful, tranquil Hawaiian setting and comfortable, relaxed lodgings appeal to you, Red Cinder may be the ideal place to host your workshop, peer retreat, or study group. Flexible scheduling and services make the Center available for such uses at various times during the year. Learning Center group stays range from 4 to 8 days; exceptions can be arranged.
Three types of groups are hosted at Red Cinder:
1. Workshops. Typically, opportunities to learn skills in a creative, professional, or personal-growth field such as drawing, writing, photography, yoga, or psychotherapy, under the guidance of a leader.
2. Peer Retreats. An occasion for members of a business enterprise, board, organization, or professional group to meet away from their day-to-day routines, to realize breakthroughs and growth in their vision and group dynamics. A leader or facilitator may or may not be involved.
3. Study Group Intensives. Colleagues or students in various academic disciplines, often at the postgraduate level, who want to work intensively and collaboratively on a topic or project.
