Rates From $150 per night (3-night minimum), $880 per week, for up to two occupants. Cost for each additional occupant up to a maximum of eight: $25/night. All rates in U.S. currency + state tax (currently 11.25%). A $200.00 security deposit is due with final payment. This amount is returned after checkout.Upon arrival this fee converts to a refundable security deposit. Total rental amount due 45 days prior to arrival. There is a $100.00 cleaning fee. Cleaning fee covers cleaning after you check out. Red Cinder Creativity Center is not suitable for families with young children or for those who have difficulty with steps, due to safety considerations that are inherent in its design.

FYI... It´s advisable to arrive during daylight hours. The turnoff from the highway is poorly lit and difficult to see at night.

You will be met by the caretaker on arrival and given a tour of the facility. Information/instructions about the house and nearby resources is provided on site. A complimentary breakfast basket will be delivered to the house every other morning during your stay.

We believe that your vacation experience will be greatly enriched by learning as much as possible about your surroundings: the land, the people and their history, Hawaiian arts and culture. We encourage you to browse the library and other materials available at Red Cinder, and to take advantage of the unique educational opportunities nearby at Volcanoes National Park and other sites.
